Brian Moore
Brian Moore, candidate for United
States Senator from Florida, speaks out against the war in Iraq and for the
need to bring our troops home immediately. Living in Spring Hill with his
wife and son, the 63-year-old
health care recruiter also
addresses
the critically important issue of the loss of our democratic rights and
freedoms, such as warrantless searches of Americans and intimidation of free
speech in our country.
Unlike his major-party opponents, Brian will challenge corporate-occupied Washington by vigorously weeding out corruption and fighting for America’s forgotten middle-class. As a U.S. Senator, the one-time Catholic seminarian will strive to end corporate welfare and the corrupting influence of money in American politics. Unlike the incumbent, who has accepted money from almost every corporate PAC imaginable - including Exxon-Mobil, Enron, and Wal-Mart, to name but a few - Brian refuses to accept any special-interest money.
Brian notes that "It is imperative that the people of Florida be given an alternative choice in their selection of candidates, and that they be able to hear and to debate opposing ideas to these two critical issues, as well as new proposals in the areas of health care, immigration, outsourcing of jobs, corporate power, and other critically important matters."
